Rebecca will explain the history of the Bugmy Bar Book and provide an overview of the resources published by the project. She will discuss the legal principles arising from the High Court case Bugmy v The Queen and how understanding those principles may enhance the quality of psychological and psychiatrist reports. Vanessa will discuss how she uses the Bugmy Bar Book publications in psychological assessments and report writing. She will also explain the importance of cultural safety and strength based evidence.
