Invitation to Attend

Join us in Hobart in December 2025 for the 43rd Australian and New Zealand Association of Psychiatry, Psychology and Law Annual Congress.

We look forward to welcoming you to connect and network in the vibrant atmosphere of Hobart, a city known for its stunning natural beauty, rich history, and unique blend of contemporary and heritage charm. Experience the thriving local culture, dynamic dining scene, and an arts community set against the backdrop of Tasmania’s picturesque landscapes.

Our program will explore a range of topics related to the interconnection between social norms, values, beliefs and ideologies and their impact on and interplay with legislative and justice responses. This will include exploration of individual and group attitudes, social and media trends, political and religious extremism, and the subsequent impacts on offending, legislative reforms, and forensic practice.

This congress will lead to learnings and robust discussions from national and international presenters, relevant and reflective of the current divisive political landscape. In addition, you will have opportunities to connect with practitioners and researchers from across the world, promoting the intersection of psychiatry, psychology, and law.

We look forward to your participation.
